NATURAL AND ORGANIC WORLD

‘Natural and Organic World’ explores coral reefs and sea anemones, it's a interior collection of a large textile art wall hanging, with accompanying digital repeat designs. This project highlights the beauty of the natural and organic forms that live underwater, to provide a visual description to show the importance of this environment. I have used a series of handcrafted textiles to create the meter-by-meter wall hanging such as knitting, crochet and latch hook.

 

This project was exhibitied at the AUB Gallery in 2023 and won the Textile Foundation Award.
